- After the launch of the Kalahari map, Garena Free Fire announced to launch a new map which is named Bermuda Remastered or Bermuda 2.0.

Why Garena Needs to launch a New Map?
On 1st January 2020, Garena Free Free Released a new map named a Kalahari. This map was different from the other two maps Bermuda and Purgatory. When the map was just released people love to play it but after some time they get bored or irritated with the design of the map. Because of the small area and fewer objects to get cover during a fight, players starting to avoid the map.

But after this event, Garena added the map in ranked matches. From there players just started spamming everywhere that, We just hate the Kalahari Map, and please remove it from the rank matches.
From there Garena Free Fire thought that now there is a need for a new map that can make players happy. Then they planned to launch the new map named Bermuda Remastered.
When Bermuda Remastered Launched?
On 13 August 2020 Bermuda Remastered map was launched in just Clash Squad mode and only some areas can be discovered of this map during the matches. These places consist of mainly 4 areas that are discovered when the map was live only in Clash Squad mode.

- Academy:- The place is situated in the northern part of the map with big warehouses.
- Nurek Dam:- This place is situated in the north part of Bimasakti. As the name says, it consists of a big Dam.
- Adam's Creek:- The place is just a replacement of Rim Nam Village in Bermuda Map. Present in the south of the map.
- Samurai's Garden:- The place Santosa is just replaced with Samurai houses and spring trees.
This map came in an Expansion pack of about 56 MB in Size. The players were so excited to see the map. And the map was successful too to make them filled with joy after they saw the map.

When Is Bermuda Remastered a map coming to Free Fire?
If you are an old player in Free Fire and was there at the launch of Kalahari Map. You will be knowing that Kalahari was too not Launched just in one time. It first came only for testing in Classic mode and only a small portion of the map was available to play.
And when players played some matches in the Kalahari Map they reported some bugs and glitches. Garena took that as feedback and launched the full version of the map after fixing all the bugs and glitches.

Similarly, in the case of the Bermuda Remastered map, Garena launched only some places for players to try out the map and report the problems if there is any. So when Garena Free Fire will fix all these issues the full version of the map will be released for the players.
Because again if there are problems in the map, it will ruin the player's gameplay and again they will start to hate the map and this is the reason why the Bermuda Remastered map still does not live in Garena Free Fire.
